It starts with mom live agenda
SESSION 1: SUPPORT (12:30 PM to 2:00 PM ET)
Bless The Mom Tribe
It takes a village! Or a full-on tribe to tackle life these days. We invite you to learn about how other moms and families are leaning on friends, family and beyond as they go through the ups and downs of motherhood.
Moms at Work
Juggling it all! This session is for working moms of all kinds – future, new and current moms. During this session, we’ll discuss managing the stress of preparing to go on maternity leave, coming back to work following leave, and juggling work and parenting all at once at home in quarantine.
Breakfast Break - Kelly Leveque
Breakfast recipe for prenatal and postnatal health to discuss the best nutrients for moms-to-be and new moms for a healthy start and healthy baby.
My Plan in Place
We’ll tackle issues women face getting into the right shape – mind and body - for their first step into motherhood. This is an opportunity for soon-to-be moms to share their hopes – and concerns – about pregnancy in light of the pandemic. We’re here to celebrate with you the journey to a happy, healthy pregnancy – no matter what’s happening in the outside world.
SESSION 2: EDUCATE (4:30 PM to 6:00 PM ET)
Conception (and pregnancy) in the time of COVID-19
Regardless of where you are on your conceivinghood journey, our panelists discuss how they are adapting to a new medical landscape, give advice on staying peaceful throughout pregnancy, and answer your questions about conceiving and giving birth in the time of COVID-19.
Lunch Break- Kelly LeVeque
Lunch recipe where she’ll share all the ins and outs of health and nutrition before and during pregnancy.
Back to “Normal” Life?
While the economy might start to reopen in May, moms are still going to be really hesitant to take their kids to the usual play spots. At this point, moms will be pretty tapped with ideas on how to keep themselves/their kids entertained at home – this session will help by covering topics surrounding easy baby/toddler/kid entertainment and games as well as helping to educate your kids.
Mind-Body-Soul Postpartum Realness
This heartfelt session offers support and guidance to moms who’ve dealt – or are dealing – with postpartum issues at various levels.
SESSION 3: INSPIRE (8:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET)
Healthy Moms Come First
From self-care to mental and physical health, we will talk openly about ways to become and stay healthy, what you need to know about postpartum, and information to empower you to take your own health into your own hands.
Jessica will then discuss the importance or prioritizing mental with the Founder of Stop Breathe Think, who will lead attendees through a guided meditation.
March of Dimes Matters to Moms
To wrap up It Starts with Mom Live, follow the story of Allyson Felix and her journey through motherhood, and how we can all help each other no matter where we are in our own journeys.
