Hi Friend,
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time when March of Dimes comes together with our corporate partners to remember and honor the babies who left us too soon. We remain committed to delivering healthy futures for families. We know that for many, this journey includes navigating the heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss. That’s why we’ll never stop providing support, education, research, and advocacy to stand for those facing these unimaginable challenges.
Corporate partners like you are making an invaluable contribution to the millions of families we serve, and helping us lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies. Your partnership fuels our mission to provide solutions for the maternal and infant health crisis affecting all families across the U.S. Together, we’re providing a caring community, cutting-edge research, powerful advocacy, and programs providing access to the care before, during, and after pregnancy.
By partnering with March of Dimes, you’re sending a strong message to families everywhere: your health and your baby’s health matter greatly to us. Thank you for your commitment to our mission.
'Til next time,
Elizabeth Dunn

Circle K activates regional point-of-sale fundraising campaign
This month, Circle K in the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Heartland regions kicked-off point- of-sale fundraising campaigns for March of Dimes. Circle K has been a supporter of our mission for more than 27 years, raising $14 million to help moms and babies get the care they need.
Currently, nearly 1,300 Circle K stores across 16 states are asking their customers to join them in supporting March of Dimes by making a donation, rounding up their purchase, or donating their spare change.
Circle K also supports our mission through The Giving Pump, donating a portion of gas purchases to March of Dimes. This program ran through August and September of this year.
Cisco launches employee giving and corporate matching campaign
For more than 20 years, Cisco has supported March of Dimes through event sponsorship, employee giving, and golf fundraisers, raising millions to support our mission.
This year, we’re honored to be chosen as the featured nonprofit partner in “Cisco Stories”, a video campaign shared with their networks to raise funds for selected charities. Cisco will match all donations made to March of Dimes.
This year's video, “Turning Pain Into Purpose”, spotlights Cisco Business Operations Manager, Iaishia Smith, who experienced a stillbirth due to maternal health complications. Together with her colleagues, Iaishia is advocating with March of Dimes to make a difference for families, especially those who've experienced a similar loss.
“March of Dimes was my village to help me get me through this traumatic experience.”

New racing partnership is moving fast for moms and babies
This month, March of Dimes announced a partnership with National Hot Rod Association driver, Deni Jensen, a new March of Dimes advocate for healthy moms and strong babies. In 2017, tragedy struck Jensen’s young family when she experienced a miscarriage and lost her second child at 13 weeks pregnant.
Through her flourishing motorsports career, Jensen is leveraging her platform to share her story and promote the mission of March of Dimes among the national racing community and its corporate partners. This new collaboration with the racing industry offers an array of corporate sponsorship opportunities that will bring critical funds to March of Dimes.
New sponsorship opportunity: Adopt the NICU Family Support® program
One in 10 babies spend their earliest days in the NICU. For their families, our NICU Family Support® program offers the support and education they need to understand and navigate the NICU experience so they can focus on what’s important. Each year, we help more than 50,000 families in more than 70 partner hospitals.
This holiday season, we invite you to help us honor NICU staff and support families by adopting the NICU Family Support® program. Supporting this program will not only help sustain March of Dimes’ mission, it’s a special opportunity to show your support for NICU babies, families, and staff. Email us to learn more about this year-end sponsorship opportunity.
Our latest research: Breakthrough discovery could predict preterm birth
A new test has been developed by Professor David MacIntyre and his team at the March of Dimes Prematurity Research Center at Imperial College London. This breakthrough could provide nearly instantaneous identification of certain types of bacteria, indicating if a woman may be at high risk for preterm birth. Learn more in this month's episode of MODCast, our research focused podcast, through the link below.
