The Midlands Upstate Cluster is a collaboration of men from around the Midlands and Upstate areas of South Carolina to promote brotherhood and academic excellence, all while providing service and advocacy for our communities. The cluster convenes twice annually in Columbia, South Carolina to perform a community-wide service project. Some of the projects done over the years include, but are not limited to, Adopt-A-Highway and community clean-ups, large mentoring events, habitat for humanity, community building projects, volunteering with special needs youth, to name a few. The Midlands Upstate Cluster has chosen to support the March of Dimes for their community-wide service project. Sinsce 1938, The March of Dimes has worked to eliminate health disparities throughout the country. Through its current mission to fight premature birth and support healthy mothers and babies, March of Dimes has been vital to ensuring healthy families and healthy communities.
