About the Emerging Leaders Council
The Greater Bay Area Emerging Leaders Council is a select group of volunteers responsible for expanding community and corporate engagement and awareness for March of Dimes in the Greater Bay Area. This elite group will serve as ambassadors for the March of Dimes mission, driving fundraising for healthy moms and strong babies, as well as a liaison to market leadership and the Greater Bay Area Board of Directors. As a founding member you will serve to shape the future of March of Dimes in the Greater Bay area… and it looks good on LinkedIn!
Committee Responsibilities:
In collaboration with March of Dimes staff and volunteer leaders, share the mission and the work of the March of Dimes with potential new partners and sponsors to increase mission impact and fund local programmatic initiatives by:
- Spearheading partnership opportunities within their own company
- Generating meetings with other potential corporate partners inside your network
- Identifying, recruiting and engaging other high-impact volunteer leaders for ELC membership
- Ensure March of Dimes fulfills its commitment to diverse volunteer leadership that reflects the communities served
