FUNDING THE CRITICAL MISSION OF MARCH OF DIMES
March of Dimes was born out of a national health pandemic, and today there’s no organization better positioned to meet people where they are right now. The focus of our work has evolved over the last 80 years—from finding a polio vaccine to our current fight for healthy moms, strong babies and health equity—the need for our vital work remains a constant.
As we find our nation in the midst of COVID-19, the relevance and importance of what we do is more critical than ever. It all starts—literally—with moms. Today, we’re meeting families where they are by advocating for policies to protect moms and babies, working to radically improve the health care they receive, pioneering research to find solutions and empowering families with knowledge and tools to have healthy pregnancies.
