Returning for its' 9th year, the Sports Car Club of America - Milwaukee Region sponsored event, Drive for Babies is on Friday, October 17th, 2014. It is a driving experience in which participants are able to take their own vehicle out on the world famous Road America track to help support the March of Dimes mission of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
It is a full fledged PDX event with SCCA instructors accompanying participants who receive a solid blend of driving instruction, ranging from classroom to in-car training to ‘follow me’ drills. This full day event includes plenty of track time with professional instructors, an autocross course, a chance to mingle with professional race car drivers, lunch and a post event dinner at The Osthoff Resort featuring special guest speakers David Hobbs and Bob Varsha. The entry fee for drivers in this event is $400. Can’t spend the whole day but still want some time on the track? For $100 you can join us at 4pm and take your vehicle on the track during our touring session, followed by the dinner. The touring session is a pace car controlled, no helmet required chance for you to experience this historic track. Paid guests are welcome to cheer on their driver and enjoy the beautiful Road America scenery as well as the lunch and dinner. Other ticket options include our VIP Package (details above) or Dinner ONLY tickets for $50 per person. The registration deadline for this event is Friday, October 10 if not sold out prior to this date. *Advanced registration is required for all ticket sales.
