Beyond Birth Outcomes: How Stress and Racism Impact the Generations
The Washington Chapter March of Dimes in partnership with The Center for Multicultural Health, Parent Trust for Washington Children, Penny Simkin, The Equal Start Community Coalition and Public Health- Seattle & King County are pleased to host Beyond Birth Outcomes: How Stress & Racism Impact the Generations. The state wide conference will feature prominent speakers including James W. Collins, Jr., MD, MPH, presenting on “The Social Determinants of Racial & Ethnic Group Disparities in Birth Outcomes” and Michèle Curtis, MD, MPH, MML, presenting on “Pregnancy in the Context of a Woman’s Life Span”. In addition, you will hear personal stories and model practices from partners across the Northwest.
Join us for a day of inspired learning and facilitated discussion on disparities in birth outcomes here in Washington State.

The Beyond Birth Outcomes partnership has made every effort to obtain CEUs from associations representing the professionals who will be attending the conference. Most CEU applications are still pending. All attendees will have the opportunity to receive a Certificate of Completion showing 6.33 instructional hours.
