The Links, Incorporated

March of Dimes has teamed up with The Links, Incorporated to promote public awareness through mission and advocacy engagement opportunities focused on legislation, education, and community outreach as well as to provide support to fundraising initiatives. These volunteer opportunities enable members to take part in a programmatic way year-round and help provide a powerful leading network to assist with the mobilization of others, add another needed voice to effect change, and provide a bold vision to improve maternal health, specifically for Black women in America.

Since 1946, The Links, Incorporated has been an international nonprofit with more than 16,000 professional women of color in 299 chapters located in 41 states, D.C., Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It’s largely comprised of Black female business and civic leaders, role models, mentors, activists, and volunteers committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other people of African ancestry.

March of Dimes began working with them in 2020, and we’re continuing to create lasting change to make America more equitable and help every family achieve the best possible health outcomes.
