National Youth Council Nomination Form

National Youth Council Position: The National Youth Council is comprised of 15 college students who have been selected because of their demonstrated leadership ability and their potential for service to the March of Dimes Foundation. Their purpose is to assist the March of Dimes in the design and implementation of programs targeted to the youth population, including March for Babies and Prematurity Awareness Month. National Youth Council members work closely with other volunteers and professional staff at the March of Dimes chapter, regional, and national offices to provide leadership and assistance in these programs. In addition, National Youth Council members will be involved with national service partners, advocacy, and health education initiatives.

Term: Minimum of two years of service as an undergraduate student.

Qualifications: Nominees must be high school seniors, college freshmen, or college sophomores in spring 2018; articulate and creative; self-motivated, with good follow-through skills; able to motivate a group; strong time managers; organized; responsible and willing to work and raise money; willing to travel; focused on and dedicated to the mission of the March of Dimes. Nominations have closed and will reopen in early 2019.
