General Federation of Women's Clubs

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Nearly 80,000 members strong, the General Federation of Women's Clubs is united in its dedication to volunteer community service. While diverse in age, interests, and experiences, all clubwomen are united by a desire to create positive change in their communities.

Since 1938, General Federation of Woman’s Clubs have worked alongside March of Dimes to change outcomes for families through service, advocacy, and fundraising. Our partnership remains strong because both organizations believe in world where every mom and baby is healthy regardless of wealth, race, gender, or geography.

In partnership with March of Dimes, the ladies of GFWC launched a Blanket Challenge in 2021 to make/knit 2021 blankets and hats for newborn babies, and they exceeded their goal! In 2022, they crafted Halloween costumes for NICU babies, and raised awareness through advocacy at the state and national level.
