The Fort Worth Division is proud to partner with CBS 11, TXA 21, JACK-FM, 103.7 KVIL and KLUV to host the March of Dimes Baby Shower. The event, in its fifth year, benefits local moms and babies and encourages pregnant women to seek early and consistent prenatal care through incentive-based community education programs.
Our foundation provides funding and support for March of Dimes signature prenatal education programs with the goal of improving birth outcomes among participants. Local agencies administer these community programs in a supportive environment that gives parents the opportunity to learn how to have a healthy pregnancy and empower them to play an active role in their care. Our foundation also offers comfort and support to neonatal intensive care units.
We are asking the community to donate: diapers; wipes; bath accessories; bottles; and new or gently-used preemie, infant, toddler and maternity clothes. All baby items are welcome; however, we cannot accept car seats, cribs, strollers or recalled items. Financial contributions, which will be used to purchase additional baby items, are also encouraged. Baby shower donations will be distributed among our program participants.
Donations will be accepted from 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, August 8th at the Fort Worth Division Office.
