Safe Sleep (PRAMS)
The Safe to Sleep campaign focuses on actions that can be taken to help babies sleep safely and reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related causes of death. Some safe sleep practices a caregiver can take include: placing baby on their back to sleep, providing baby with their own space to sleep (crib, bassinet or portable play yard with a firm, flat mattress) in the same room as their caregiver, and a space that is free of blankets, pillows, bumpers and toys.
