• In Rhode Island in 2011, 76.2% of mothers under age 20 reported ever breastfeeding or pumping breast milk to feed their baby after delivery, compared to 81.0% of women ages 20-24, 84.6% of women ages 25-34 and 82.7% of women ages 35 and older.
