• In Montana during 2011-2013 (average), infant mortality rates (per 1,000 live births) were highest for women under age 20 (8.9) and ages 30-39 (5.7) , compared to 5.8 for all live births. 
• Of all infants born during 2011-2013 (average), 7.4% were to mothers under the age of 20, 57.0% were to mothers ages 20-29 years, 33.6% were to mothers ages 30-39 years, and 2.0% were to mothers ages 40 and older.
