• In Illinois in 2009, 81.9% of Hispanic mothers reported receiving Medicaid at any time, including just before the pregnancy, for prenatal care, or for the delivery, compared to 36.4% of white mothers, 86.2% of black mothers and 36.0% of other race/ethnicity mothers.
