• During 2014-2016 (average), the low birthweight rate in Arkansas was highest for black infants (14.7%), followed by Asian/Pacific Islanders (8.6%), whites (7.5%) and American Indian/Alaska Natives (7.0%). 
• Black infants (14.7%) were about 2 times as likely as American Indian/Alaska Native infants (7.0%) to be born low birthweight during 2014-2016 (average)
