Our Houston Mom & Baby Mobile Health Center® provides essential care to underserved patients in Harris County, TX. Operated by Memorial Hermann Health System, the program launched in January 2025 with a goal of providing reliable, high-quality prenatal and women’s healthcare for uninsured and underinsured women of childbearing age (15-44). The 40-foot mobile health center features two clinical rooms designed specially for women’s health services.
Memorial Hermann Health System is one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in Southeast Texas, with 17 hospitals and numerous specialty programs and services located throughout the Greater Houston area.
The Houston Mom & Baby Mobile Health Center is made possible through funding from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, the largest provider of health benefits in the state.

Services available
- Well-woman exams and prenatal labs
- Health screenings, including blood pressure and sexually transmitted infections
- Prenatal and postnatal care
- Routine newborn care and assessment (up to 1 month of age)
- Treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections and sore throat
- Cesarean wound care
- Referral and coordination for high-risk care
