The Second Annual Ohio Nurse of the Year Awards is a state-wide event that recognizes exceptional nurses, creates awareness of professional excellence, and promotes the future of the nursing profession, all while helping to advance the mission of the March of Dimes: to promote the health of babies by preventing premature birth, birth defects, and infant mortality. The March of Dimes recognizes that nurses are at the forefront of our mission and what we've accomplished over the last 76 years! The Nurse of the Year selection committee will review hundreds of applications across 17 defined categories ranging from Advanced Practice to Surgical Services. The nominations will be shared with the nominees. Nurses play such a vital role in our society and are the unsung heroes of the health care provider community. We are proud to honor the work they do.
The finalists will be honored at a special, formal evening gala on Saturday, November 8th at the Hilton Columbus at Easton Town Center from 6 - 9pm. The Nurse of the Year Awards tables can be reserved starting at $1,500 for one table of 8 guests with 2 additional seats for the Nurse of the Year finalist. Sponsorships continue up through varying levels from $2,500- $15,000. The March of Dimes is thrilled that UnitedHealthcare Community Plan is the Diamond level, Presenting Sponsor of this event.
