This session addresses the critical ways frontline staff can engage families in the NICU, to provide support to families showing signs of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders or post-traumatic stress syndrome. This session will focus on understanding the effects of chronic stress, including oppression and racism, and will provide strategies to support families during their NICU stay and as they transition to home.
