American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM)
ACNM is a professional association that represents certified nurse-midwives and certified midwives in the United States. The mission of ACNM is to establish midwifery as the standard of care for women, leading the profession through education, clinical practice, research and advocacy. ACNM provides research, administers and promotes continuing education programs, establishes clinical practice standards and creates liaisons with state and federal agencies and members of Congress.
Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
AWHONN is a professional association of nurses committed to the health of women and newborns. The mission of AWHONN is to improve and promote the health of women and newborns and to strengthen the nursing profession through the delivery of superior advocacy, research, education and other professional and clinical resources that are available to nurses and other health care professionals.
National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN)
NANN addresses the educational and practice needs within the specialty of neonatal nursing, while giving all neonatal nurses national representation. The core purpose of NANN is to support the professional needs of neonatal nurses throughout their careers, through education, research and translation, advocacy and membership engagement.
