Communication in the Social Media Age:
Exploring the Benefits and Challenges in the NICU Setting

This webinar highlights how communication, or miscommunication, impacts everyone and everything in the workplace. We'll discover the needs and differences of a multigenerational staff and examine how to communicate effectively through technology and social media.

Objectives:

  • Define common communication traits of the different generations
  • List at least three challenges of social media in the NICU
  • Describe at least three benefits to NICU families and to the unit by utilizing social media
