Meet the team

The NICU Initiatives team is comprised of leaders in patient & family experience, family centered care, and support & quality improvement. Staff are trained and certified in a variety of areas, to provide a deep and well-rounded knowledge base. Team credentials include public health, social work, nursing, and certified patient experience professionals. Through this combined expertise, the team is a relevant and accessible resource for hospitals as they make progress towards their patient and family experience goals.

Kim Parker
MSPH, MSW, Vice President, Community Engagement & Action

Kim leads the Community Engagement & Action team, working across the country to implement NICU Family Support®, Supportive Pregnancy CareTM, Collective Impact, Maternal & Infant Health Initiatives and the Mom and Baby Action Network.

Heather Reimer
MSW, CPXP, Senior Director, NICU Family Support

Heather leads the NICU team in developing and executing new program initiatives and partnerships nationwide. She also leads program partnership, implementation and quality assurance for select NICU Family Support® sites across the country.

Kimberly Paap
BS, Manager, Product Development

Kim manages product development for the NICU Family Support® program, including print and digital materials. She also supports product development for the Supportive Pregnancy Care program.
