2015 March for Babies Kickoff

Spokane residents gather at Providence Auditorium in Spokane to mark the start of the March for Babies fundraising season. Raising money for Spokane babies is more important than ever. Past and new participants will discuss how to best energize the community and engage more people than ever before.

March for Babies is the March of Dimes’ largest fundraiser, with more than 9,000 walkers bringing in more than $1.5 million in Washington state last year.

WHEN:

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

7:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.

WHERE:

Providence Auditorium

20 W 9th Avenue, Spokane, WA

WHY:

In Washington, more than 8,700 babies are born too soon each year. Premature babies often spend weeks in the NICU fighting for life, and often have lasting disabilities due to being born before they’re ready.

March of Dimes is the champion for all babies, those born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive. Moms can rely on March of Dimes for everything they need to know about having a healthy baby before, during and after pregnancy.

SPONSORS:

Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, Avista, Premera Blue Cross, Bank of America, Kalispel Tribe Northern Quest Resort and Casino and Global Credit Union
