Davenport, Iowa, July 25, 2014 —

The most colorful run in the Quad Cities is donating a majority of the race proceeds.

On Friday Mel Foster Reality donated $20,000 each to March of Dimes, the Child Abuse Council, and Rick's House of Hope.

This year's Color the Quads raised $60,000 for family–based grants, research and education.

"This allows us to get money out into our community a lot sooner this year and for the year of the 2014 and get some more programs going," said Deena Bradford, division director of March of Dimes.

Next year marks the third Mel Foster Color the Quads 5K run.
