Massachusetts March of Dimes Adds Lauren Pimpare to Board of Directors

The Boston-Manchester Market of the March of Dimes today announced that it has named Lauren Pimpare to the organization's board of directors. Ms. Pimpare, the President and Founder of the nonprofits Tomorrow's Women TODAY, and the Boston Women's Leadership Council, will provide the strategic direction and healthcare expertise necessary to expand the March of Dimes efforts throughout the region.
"We're honored to have Lauren Pimpare join our Board of Directors as we continue our work to ensure that all babies are born healthy," said Ed Doherty, Executive Director of Market Development Boston-Manchester March of Dimes. "Lauren will offer invaluable insight and expertise on the healthcare components of our outreach programs, events and communications."
Before committing to full-time work with Tomorrow's Women Today, Ms. Pimpare worked as a healthcare professional for more than thirteen years. In that time, she led a number of successful management and performance improvement initiatives at top Boston hospitals, including Tufts Medical Center. She earned her master's degree in business/healthcare administration from Suffolk University and a bachelor's degree from Guilford College.
Ms. Pimpare lives in Cohasset with her husband, Jay, and their three children, Myla, Boston, and Coco.
