March of Dimes Names New Executive Director in Las Vegas

(Las Vegas, NV Sept.6, 2017)… The March of Dimes is pleased to announce that Pamela Carlston has joined the organization as Executive Director of Market Development for the Greater Nevada Market. Carlston brings a wealth of development experience to the role with more than ten years of experience in staff leadership, volunteer development and fundraising. Most recently, she was the director of development for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Las Vegas. In this role, she was responsible for the direct solicitation of individuals and corporations for major gifts, overseeing the event portfolio including an inaugural gala, and growing the organization’s digital and direct mail efforts. Past positions include fundraising and management positions at healthcare foundations in Salt Lake City and a performing art center in Las Vegas.

Carlston has served on several non-profit boards and community groups in both Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. As a board member for the Northern Utah Autism Program, she established the first autism program north of Salt Lake City.  

Carlston resides in Henderson, Nevada with her husband and their four children. She loves cycling, running and participating in Spartan Races. She is honored to join the March of Dimes where she believes her leadership, community collaborations and fundraising vision will grow awareness and sustainability in the Las Vegas Market.
