Laura Goodwin Named Executive Director for March of Dimes Upstate Division

The March of Dimes is proud to announce that Laura Goodwin has been promoted to the position of Executive Director for the Upstate Division of the March of Dimes. Mrs. Goodwin joined the organization in November, 2008 and served as a Senior Community Director servicing Anderson and Greenville Counties. Mrs. Goodwin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from College of Charleston.
“We are proud to have Laura in this important role in our organization. Her experience and passion for our mission helps us achieve our goals and continue working for stronger, healthier babies,” said Mona Carter, State Director for the March of Dimes South Carolina Chapter.
The March of Dimes Upstate Division hosts March for Babies events in ten upstate counties including Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenwood, Oconee, Pickens, Union and Laurens. The Division also hosts the Wonderwalk event in Greenville, and Signature Chefs Auctions in Greenville and Spartanburg and the Greenville Real Estate Award Luncheon. Each year, the South Carolina Chapter of the March of Dimes invests in mission initiatives statewide, including research grants and local community services.
