The sad and simple fact is that the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color. Each year, one woman dies every 12 hours from pregnancy-related causes, and 1 in 10 babies is born too soon. March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies—and our work is even more critical today during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re working to level the playing field so all moms and babies are healthy and strong regardless of wealth, race or geography.
We know we can’t accomplish our goals without the support of our partner providers and vendors. Families in every community need champions to step up now more than ever.
