Our mission
March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. Today, we're striving to end maternal health risks and death, end preventable preterm birth and infant death, and close the health equity gap. The maternal and infant health crisis is real—but so is our impact. From providing access to quality health care to mobilizing our community to create lasting change for moms and babies, we're ensuring families can get the best possible start.

Mission in action
• We provide content to healthcare providers through the March of Dimes Training Institute. We’ve held trainings on implicit bias for organizations such as Meharry Medical College, TNHA, TIPQC, Tennessee Hospital Association, HCA Healthcare and more.
• NICU Family Support® is a premiere program for neonatal intensive care units (NICU), offering staff training and family education to improve the patient experience. We currently serve Regional One Hospital in Memphis to support their NICU families.
