Our mission
March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. Today, we're striving to end maternal health risks and death, end preventable preterm birth and infant death, and close the health equity gap. The maternal and infant health crisis is real—but so is our impact. From providing access to quality health care to mobilizing our community to create lasting change for moms and babies, we're ensuring families can get the best possible start.

Atlanta's mission in action
• NICU Family Support® currently serves three NICUs: Wellstar Cobb, Wellstar Kennestone, and Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah in addition to a virtual NICU site at Northside Hospital. This program provides family education, staff training, and improved patient experience.
• March of Dimes Atlanta and Goodr have formed a partnership to provide free pop-up grocery markets for pregnant and postpartum women throughout Georgia.
• The Atlanta Collective Impact Initiative is partnering with the Center for Black Women’s Wellness and Irth to make Black Birth safer in Atlanta. The Irth app is a modern-day “Greenbook” digital initiative to address bias in maternal and infant care. Go to www.irthapp.com for more information.
