Finding out you’re pregnant can bring a mix of emotions that can include joy, worry, excitement, or even fear. That’s completely normal. One way to help manage those feelings is to plan ahead and take care of your health early on.

Knowing you’re pregnant as soon as possible can help you make important choices for yourself and your baby. A pregnancy test lets you know when it’s time to start prenatal care—the earlier the better. That’s because seeing a health care provider early helps you get the support you need, like checking on your baby’s growth and learning what steps to take for a healthy pregnancy.

If you think you might be pregnant, taking a test early can help you get care right away. This is especially important if you need support managing stress, anxiety, or depression. These conditions can affect anyone and are nothing to be ashamed of. Your emotional health matters just as much as your physical health.

Taking care of yourself before and during pregnancy supports your baby’s health too. Planning for baby isn’t just about appointments or starting prenatal vitamins before conception—it’s also about making space to care for yourself. When you care for your mental health early on, you give yourself and your baby the healthiest start possible.

You deserve to feel confident and cared for. Start by getting a pregnancy test early, planning ahead and checking in with how you’re feeling, both physically and emotionally.
