Join us for one of the most unique events in Philadelphia offering guests the opportunity to support the March of Dimes and impact the health of babies. The NBC Sports Philadelphia Shining Star Awards pairs children that have been impacted by the mission of the March of Dimes with players from the five Philadelphia sports teams.  The player and children are introduced at the event through a vignette that tells the childs story and shows the interaction with their player. We look forward to welcoming you to this year's event and supporting our community!

Every year, 15 million babies are born prematurely worldwide, and 1 million will die before their first birthday. Your gift helps the March of Dimes fund research, education, advocacy and programs that help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.

Through partnerships with companies, organizations and individuals, the March of Dimes is able to create unique moments for your clients, vendors and leadership teams. They participate in an exclusive event while supporting a critical cause. Sponsorship opportunities are available at a variety of levels for our events, providing you with brand recognition, civic engagement and an exclusive client entertainment opportunity within the event. We look forward to working with you to discuss your partnership with the March of Dimes. Please contact Susan Elder at [email protected] or 484-685-5838. NBC Sports Philadelphia, the nation’s leading regional sports network, is a proud partner and host of the NBC Sports Philadelphia Shining Star Awards benefitting the March of Dimes.
All of us at NBC Sports Philadelphia are proud to share something in common with our honorees - a passion for life and for celebrating it.   We also realize that living Philly sports is more than just games, it’s about community. That’s why we are proud to partner with the March of Dimes, a foundation who positively impacts our community every day. Many of us serve on the boards of  local charities, and as a network, we’re proud to have helped these organizations raise over $3 million for various community outreach programs this past year, and to get their message out to the public through donated airtime for PSAs, and news coverage on NBC Sports Philadelphia and
