The March of Dimes is the only organization working on preventative measures to end premature births and birth defects. In Georgia, 1 in 10 babies is born prematurely. Our vision is clear. No income level, race or county should determine if a mom or her baby get to survive pregnancy or the first year of their life. That’s why we have invested $6.5 million in innovative research to improve outcomes for moms and babies.
Too many parents come home from the NICU without their baby and with your support we can ensure more parents and NICU staff have the support they need. Whether it be implicit bias training for healthcare workers or simply connecting NICU families with our app to help them navigate the NICU journey, your involvement will make that possible.
