EVENT DETAILS

This is not your typical movie night! Join March of Dimes for a night out under the stars to support moms and babies. This event includes a pre-movie cocktail hour, open bar for the duration of the evening, reserved blankets with pillows, individual cheese and charcuterie boards, sweet treats, and all the essential movie goodies. This elegant movie night will make you feel like you’re IN a movie.

DUE TO WEATHER, THIS EVENT HAS BEE RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY, JULY 18 AT 7PM!

Event Schedule:
7:00 p.m. Check-in/cocktail hour begins
8:00 p.m. "Mean Girls" begins
10:00 p.m. Event concludes

What does admission include?
Tickets are $125/person and include the following: open bar from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., reserved blankets for your party, individual cheese and charcuterie boards delivered right to your blanket, essential movie goodies including popcorn, soda, and boxed movie theater candy, and some other yummy surprises! The ticket price also includes a donation to the March of Dimes. We thank you for your support!

Will I be sent physical tickets?
No, we are not issuing physical tickets. Instead, you will simply check-in at the registration station when you arrive at the event.

What movie will we be watching?
We'll be showing "Mean Girls" (2004), the cult-classic written by Tina Fey. Lindsay Lohan stars as Cady Heron, a 16 year old homeschooled girl who not only makes the mistake of falling for Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett), the ex-boyfriend of queenbee Regina George (Rachel McAdams), but also unintentionally joins The Plastics, led by Regina herself. Join Cady as she learns that high school life can and will be really tough.

What is the March of Dimes?
The March of Dimes is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to fighting for the health of all moms and babies. We focus our efforts on prematurity, maternal mortality, birth defects, and infant death. Funds raised by the March of Dimes supports research, advocacy, and support programs and resources in Illinois and across the country. To learn more about our work, please visit marchofdimes.org.

What should I bring?
This is the ultimate outdoor movie experience, so the only thing to bring is your photo ID and yourself. An insta-worthy experience with blankets will be provided, but you are welcome to bring other items, such as pillows and extra blankets, if you'd like. PLEASE DO NOT BRING CHAIRS, OR OUTSIDE FOOD/BEVERAGES, AS THEY ARE NOT PERMITTED.

Is there parking?
There is a small parking lot at Bridge 410 that is available to attendees on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additionally, free parking (no permit required) is plentiful in the neighborhood around the venue.

What kinds of social distancing rules and guidelines will be in place?
The March of Dimes will be adhering to governmental and CDC rules and guidelines. The movie will take place outside and reserved blankets will be spaced according to social distancing guidelines. We will do our best to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Can I sit next to my friends?
Of course! For simplicity's sake, we recommend one person in your party purchase all the tickets in a single transaction. If that isn't possible, we will do our best to accomodate requests to be seated next to each other. Assuming there aren't governmental restrictions in place, you'll be welcome to move your blankets closer together to accomodate a larger group if you wish.

Is the event rain or shine?
In the event we need to cancel due to inclement weather, we will notify guests via email and a make-up date will be provided.

Can my company get involved?
