Military families sacrifice a great deal and are often relocated to bases that far from family or friends. Mission: Healthy Baby addresses military families’ unique needs by providing free pregnancy and newborn health information and support services so they can focus on what matters—healthy moms and strong babies.
Each year as part of Mission: Healthy Baby, March of Dimes hosts baby showers in communities across the country to provide critical educational information developed by March of Dimes and branches of the military. These showers are also a great opportunity for military moms to connect with other moms-to-be and learn about support networks March of Dimes has in place to help them, including an online community.
South Florida Virtual Military Baby Shower is scheduled for December 1, 2020 for Naval Air Station Key West, US Coast Guard Base Miami Beach and Homestead Air Reserve Base active duty members.

SUPPORT THE MISSION
A March of Dimes signature military program for moms-to-be in the military. The program offers support services and important health information about their pregnancies and newborn. Moms also receive over $250 in baby care gifts donated by our national sponsor, Phillips and our local/regional sponsors.
