Military Baby Showers

Mission: Healthy Baby is a March of Dimes program that is designed specifically for military families and provides free pregnancy and newborn health information, as well as, support services to help them have one less thing to worry about and have healthy, full-term babies. The Mission: Healthy Baby online military community is dedicated to supporting the needs of military moms-to-be with health information and a support network.  Additionally, through community military baby showers, military families receive resources and health information along with donated products to defray costs of baby essentials. Moms also receive over $250 in baby care gifts donated by our national sponsor, Phillips and our local/regional sponsors.

Through partnerships with companies, organizations and individuals, the March of Dimes is able to create unique moments for your clients, vendors and leadership teams. Our goals: Building stronger communities and supporting our military families during their transition to parenthood; to make a positive impact in the lives of service members and their families by supporting programs that help them weather the challenges of military life; working to give every baby the opportunity to thrive, live the future they choose and grow up to change the world.

Every day in the United States, two moms die from childbirth complications, and two babies die every HOUR!  We are fighting to change this. Your support helps the March of Dimes fund research, education, advocacy and programs that help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.

Military families sacrifice a great deal and are often relocated to bases that far from family or friends.  Our Military Baby Showers address military families’ unique needs by providing free pregnancy and newborn health information and support services so they can focus on what matters—healthy moms and strong babies.  Each year as part of Mission: Healthy Baby, March of Dimes hosts baby showers in communities across the country to provide critical educational information developed by March of Dimes and branches of the military. These showers are also a great opportunity for military moms to connect with other moms-to-be and learn about support networks March of Dimes has in place to help them, including an online community.
