New Prematurity Research Center Launched in Pennsylvania!

On Monday, November 17th, World Prematurity Day, the March of Dimes and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania announced the launch of a new Prematurity Research Center with a $10 million, multi-year investment. This unique team-based approach will examine the complex problem of preterm birth and its unknown causes, in order to develop new treatments to help more women have full-term pregnancies.

    Funds raised by the March of Dimes support prenatal wellness programs, research grants, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) family support programs, consumer and clinician education and advocacy efforts for stronger, healthier babies.
