GE and the March of Dimes share a unique history, dating all the way back to the 1940s when GE equipment was modified and provided to the March of Dimes to support polio patients. In the 1950’s the March of Dimes provided polio shots for GE employees in the US to promote the need for healthy lifestyles.Over the past 25 years, GE teams have supported the March of Dimes, walking every April to raise money and awareness.
