March of Dimes Announces Winner of March for Babies Ohio Weekend Getaway Raffle
Columbus, Ohio (May 5, 2014) — The March of Dimes Ohio Chapter is pleased to announce the winner of their 2014 March for Babies Ohio Weekend Getaway Raffle. The winner was chosen randomly from all Ohio March for Babies registered participants who raised $200 online before midnight on April 30, 2014. For each increment of $200 raised online, the registered walker received an additional entry! The contest concluded at midnight on Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
This year’s winner is Andrea Rice from Moreland Hills, Ohio. Andrea and her husband Jon, sons Nathan and Noah participated as “walkers” on the Kowalski Family Team in the March for Babies Cleveland walk on April 27th to support the work of March of Dimes. The Rice family has been supporting the March for Babies since 2002 as part of the Sweeny Family Team (in memory of cousins Isabelle and Annabelle) and since her sister Alyssa’s daughter Ava’s birth as part of the Kowalski Family Team in 2012.
Andrea won the Roar and Explore Family Getaway. This Family Fun package includes a 2-night stay at the Drury Inn plus 4 tickets to three top-rated Central Ohio attractions — the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, Zoombezi Bay Water Park and COSI - Center of Science and Industry.
