March For Babies Volunteers Crowd The Today Show




                NEW YORK, APRIL 23, 2013 March of Dimes 2013 National Ambassador Nina Centofanti of Mason, Ohio (front), is surrounded by her mom Chris, dad Vince, big brother Nick and little sister Mia, along with a crowd of more than 100 volunteer parents, babies, and children all wearing the March of Dimes signature purple color as they visited the NBC Today Show in Rockefeller Plaza early this morning.  Al Roker, weather and feature anchor of Today, spoke to them about March for Babies, the March of Dimes number one fundraiser, which will take place in most areas of the country this coming weekend of April 27-28.                Nina was born more than two months early, weighing less than 3 pounds. She and her family are travelling around the nation this year to help raise awareness of the serious problem of premature birth and the lifesaving and education and treatments developed by the March of Dimes.
