Mission Pharmacal announced today that it will partner with the March of Dimes to distribute healthy pregnancy and healthy baby education materials to more than 15,000 obstetricians and gynecologists nationwide to help more babies be born healthy.
“The March of Dimes and Mission Pharmacal have a shared commitment to excellence and a future that gives all families a better quality of life,” said Dr. Jennifer L. Howse, president of the March of Dimes. “We’re proud to partner with Mission Pharmacal, a company that shares our vision of a healthy future for all babies. Through innovation, research and commitment both our organizations have flourished for more than half a century.”
Mission Pharmacal is a national sponsor of the March for Babies, which takes place in more than 900 communities all across the United States, with most occurring the weekend of April 24-25. The funds raised in March for Babies support the March of Dimes mission to give every baby a healthy start. Since 1970, March for Babies has raised an incredible $1.8 billion.
Mission Pharmacal also will form a team of employees who will participate in March for Babies and will set up booths at event sites throughout the country to distribute March of Dimes education material.
“Mission Pharmacal’s commitment to scientific research and development in the area of prenatal health has allowed us to specialize in quality products for women and their babies. The relationship with the March of Dimes further demonstrates that commitment as well as aligning us with an organization whose mission is so critical to women specifically and families as a whole,” said Terrell Herring, president of Mission Pharmacal Company’s Pharmaceutical Division. “Together we will fight to give every baby the best chance for a full and wonderful life.”
