Every year in the United States, more than half a million babies are born too soon, 5,315 of them right here in Nevada. With your help, we work to improve the health of babies and support families if something does go wrong.
Preterm birth rates fell again in 2013, which is the lowest in 17 years. However, despite this progress, the nation still received a "C" on the annual report card and still has the highest rate of preterm birth of any industrialized country.
Congratulations to all the remarkable nurses who were nominated for Nurse of the Year for their excellence in patient care, nursing practice, and nursing education.
The March of Dimes Nevada Chapter awards grants to local organizations to meet the urgent needs of babies and families in our communities. Learn about the initiatives we’re supporting and how you can help give babies a strong, healthy futures.
