    Helping moms and babies

The March of Dimes Missouri Chapter funds programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. This includes providing financial support for research and education that will help moms before and during their pregnancies. It also includes working with local medical groups and organizations to improve prenatal care and newborn screening.

We are pleased to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for our 2016 Community Grants (requests up to $25,000 will be accepted).

The goal of the Community Grants program is to identify and fund community-based programs addressing the health concerns of pregnant women and infants in the state of Missouri. Desired applications include community-based programs that address the following:

    • Smoking Cessation -such as Baby & Me Tobacco Free ™ and the Smoking Cessation and Reduction in Pregnancy Treatment (SCRIPTS) Program
    • Preconception Health Education and/or services - such as neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS)
    • Group Prenatal Care Model such as CenteringPregnancy ® or CenteringParenting ®
    • Quality Improvement Programs - such as implementation of the Preterm Labor Assessment Toolkit (PLAT) and Eliminating Early Elective Delivery Toolkit (EED)

Community Grants are one year only and the funding year is from January 1-December 31, 2016.

2016 Request for Proposal Applications Deadline is Wednesday, September 30 at 4:00 p.m..
