Massachusetts Nurses to be Honored by March of Dimes

In honor of National Nurses Week and National Nurses Day, the March of Dimes Massachusetts Chapter is pleased to announce that its third annual Nurse of the Year Awards will be held on Monday, October 7 at the VERVE - Crowne Plaza Hotel in Natick.
National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6, National Nurses Day, through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
Nurses are an integral part of the March of Dimes mission for stronger, healthier babies. Nurse of the Year is a statewide event that recognizes exceptional nurses, creates awareness of professional excellence and promotes the future of the nursing profession, while helping to advance the overall mission of the March of Dimes.
Outstanding nurses throughout the state can be nominated in the following categories: Advanced Practice, Community Health, Public Health, Education, Neonatal, Nurse Researcher, Administration, Pediatric, Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Student Nurse, Maternal/Newborn, Labor and Delivery and Anti-Partum.
