Read the March of Dimes press release "Who Am I To Judge". It promotes a 160 page volume, written by Judge George Ferguson which is available for purchase from the March of Dimes at a cost of $25.00 per book which includes GST and shipping.
Past President Judge George Ferguson's life and work mirrored the theme of the International Year of Disabled Persons -- "full participation and equality" for people with disabilities.
This award, created in 1981 and named in his honour, is presented annually to a business, organization, or individual contributing in an outstanding way to enabling equality and full community participation for people with physical disabilities throughout Canada.

Eligibility Criteria

- the nominee's contribution must have had a major impact on society and elevated the well being of people with disabilities;
- the nominee's contribution should be unique.
