On October 1, 2004, at its Annual General Meeting, Ontario March of Dimes honoured several individuals and corporations who have helped enhance the quality of life of people with physical disabilities.
"Our winners this year all have different stories and come from different communities across the province of Ontario," said David Onley, a long-time CityPulse reporter and friend of OMOD, who emceed the awards presentation for a fourth straight year.
"But the one thing that binds them all is their commitment to creating a society inclusive of people with physical disabilities."
We congratulate our winners, and send our gratitude to all our volunteers who make such a difference in their own communities every day.
