Transamerica Life Canada
Through its Drive for Life Golf Tournament, Transamerica Life Canada chose to support one of our most innovative programs. The Conductive Education® (CE) Program was granted $700,000 over three years to fund Conductor (teacher) training, service and the development of CE in Canada.
The Transamerica gift represents the largest corporate gift in OMOD's over fifty year history. Transamerica Life Canada provides specialized financial and life insurance products to individuals and organizations.
Sanofi-aventis Canada
Sanofi-aventis Canada is a major supporter of Stroke Recovery Canada. Over the past five years, it has donated over $220,000 toward the program, included helping to fund the printing and distribution of Survive & Thrive information packages, to assist stroke survivors with recovering their health and independence.
Sanofi-aventis Canada is the Canadian affiliate of the international sanofi-aventis corporation, and develops and manufactures medicines in several therapeutic areas, including cardiology, cancer and metabolic diseases.
Sanofi Pasteur
Sanofi pasteur (formerly Aventis Pasteur) is one of our most generous sponsors, providing almost $360,000 over the past ten years. Every year, the organization supports the annual Ability & Beyond Dinner, and also co-sponsors the annual Jonas Salk Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions in science or medicine that help prevent, alleviate or eliminate a physical disability.
In 2003, sanofi funded the launch of Polio Canada®, a national support program for polio survivors who face new health problems associated with the disease, and in 2005 supported the IABs conference, which examined both the earliest and the latest science on the poliovirus and vaccines, as well as the status of the current global eradication initiative.
Sanofi pasteur is the vaccine branch of sanofi-aventis, providing vaccines against diseases such as polio, tetanus, diphtheria, meningitis, influenza and pertussis.

Recently recognized as one of our most generous supporters of Conductive Education, TD Bank Financial Group continues to be one of our leading corporate donors. From hosting our annual TD Challenge Barbecue and supporting our Ability & Beyond Dinner to assisting with the launch of our Home & Vehicle Modification Program and our Kids Can Make A Difference program, TD Bank has granted over $480,000 in its eight-year partnership with Ontario March of Dimes.

In the interest of helping Ontario March of Dimes and thousands of physically disabled people achieve their optimum health, well-being, and potential, Procter & Gamble has generously donated $50,000 towards the Conductive Education program, which assists people with motor disabilities to improve their movement skills.

Royal Bank of Canada
Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has donated over $60,000 to Ontario March of Dimes in support of our Employment Services programs, Conductive Education, and the 2007 FICCDAT conference, which discussed how to enhance the lives of seniors, persons with disabilities and their family caregivers.
RBC is the largest financial institution in Canada, and maintains an avid interest in contributing to the health and wellness of communities across the country.
CitiFinancial
CitiFinancial is a past supporter of the Conductive Education Program, which serves children with physical disabilities, providing over $100,000 of support to the Ottawa program.
CitiFinancial is a financial services company specializing in personal and home equity loans and is part of Citigroup, one of the largest global financial services companies.
Green Shield Canada
In 2002-05, Green Shield Canada donated over $100,000 to help fund the establishment of Stroke Recovery Canada, which offers information and support services to help stroke victims regain an independent lifestyle, and to support a Leadership Training Conference for members of SRC chapters across Ontario. In 2006, it provided $149,000 to help expand the Assistive Devices program, which assists people with disabilities to obtain needed mobility aids and other medical devices.

GenX Solutions was a Bronze level sponsor of the FICCDAT conference, and in 2006 donated $10,000 to the Kids Can Make A Difference program, to support our children’s Conductive Education program.

Ronald McDonald House Charities
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Canada generously contributed to our Conductive Education program with a $25,000 grant to purchase specialized furniture for CE classrooms, allowing us to reach more children in Ontario and across the country.
RMHC is dedicated to helping children with serious and/or life-threatening illnesses or disabilities and their families lead happier and healthier lives, and since 1982 has supported children's charities in over 500 communities across Canada.
Ingle International and Imagine Financial Ltd.
Ingle International Imagine Financial Ltd. supports the clients, employees and volunteers of Ontario March of Dimes, as well as the entire disability community, by providing access to insurance and financial packages for people with special needs and their families. This includes TravelAbility®, a program specializing in travel insurance products for people with disabilities.
Ingle represents all of the major insurance companies in Canada, and specializes in finding the right product to suit an individual’s needs and budget. Ingle is also a valued supporter of the Conductive Education Program and its participants. Ingle International, operating through Imagine Financial Ltd., works with licensed insurance agents across Canada.
Bayer Inc.
Bayer Inc. provided $10,000 in 2008 to support Stroke Recovery Canada’s Leadership Training Conference, which provides training and education to program volunteers.
Bayer Inc. is the Canadian subsidiary of Bayer AG of Germany, an international health care company. Its products help prevent, diagnose and treat serious health disorders, especially in the areas of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, infectious diseases and hemophilia.
Shoppers Home Health Care
Shoppers Home Health Care has donated almost $120,000 to Ontario March of Dimes in support of the FICCDAT conference, the HVMP program, which modifies homes and vehicles for access by people with disabilities, and OMOD fundraising programs, such as Rock for Kids.
Shoppers Home Health Care is a division of Shoppers Drug Mart, and provides a wide selection of specialty home health care products and services.
