Sensitivity and Awareness Training Success Story

In 2006, OMOD partnered with Community Living Access Support Services in Haldimand and Norfolk Counties to provide extensive half day Sensitivity and Awareness training sessions.  Each session was designed and delivered to raise awareness and inclusion of people with all types of disabilities. 19 sessions were well received by 437 participants- in a half day!

Acquired BRAIN INJURY SERVICES success story

In coordination with Primmum Insurance, OMOD ABI Services successfully assisted a young man with an acquired brain injury move into his own apartment.  Initially he received up to 6 hours of staff support each day. With daily strategies and a strong planning process in place twice a week, this individual now receives minimal support each day.
